 Mission: Adding value, building people differentiation  for Family wellness.

Able J Family Wellness offers unique wellness and problem-solving skills through programs that strengthen and empower individuals, couples, parents, and families. Certified Family Wellness trainers, Restorative Therapists and crisis managers present these highly interactive programs in the most personalized and relational manner. This is effective for fragile families, military families, couple and family retreats, and culturally diverse communities. Through our programs, we also offer to couples, companies/organization crisis intervention, crisis management, safety, and family wellness.

"Survival , Skills for Healthy Families" is a twelve hour Family Wellness program presented to large groups of families and individuals in a series of six two-hour sessions (We shall cover this in 9 hours, 8:00AM to 5:00PM):

• Parents in Healthy Families
• Children in Healthy Families
• Adult Relationships-Couples in Healthy Families
• As Children Grow-Change in Healthy Families
• Solving Family Problems
• Sex, Drugs, and You-Passing on Your Values to Your Children

Each of the sessions is organized around practical guidelines for healthy family interactions that are demonstrated and then practiced with the participants. There highly qualified and certified instructors that will facilitate this.

The course is a proven model for teaching skills, enhancing healthy family interactions, and investing family members in each other and their community and designed by FAMILY WELLNESS ASSOCIATES

Benefits of Our Family wellness Program:

The Family Wellness Program has specific benefits for a variety of settings:

1. A Structure that provides focus and skills for counselors and agency personnel.

2. Effective Prevention: Stops problems before they start.

3. Provides supportive structure for families with the additional stresses of drugs and of violence in the community.

5. Focus on management of children and stronger couple’s relationships.

6. Meets legal and program requirements for court ordered abuse cases (spousal, child, and drug/alcohol abuse).

7. Gives parents skills and support for managing their children.

8. Provides a supportive program for family members to acquire skills for managing their lives and building health in their families.

9. Provides a framework and skills for interactive teaching through the use of role-play.

10. Gives counselors, clergy, agency staff, and school personnel the skills and practice to work effectively with difficult youth and family situations.

We support all victims of crises in the workplace and their family members, on call, on line and on site, through:

•  Family wellness care (standard, emotional/crises chaplaincy care)
•  Substance Abuse programs
•  Work/Life balance counseling
•  Family crises: divorce, teen pregnancy, death, accident, injury, lost of job or property, health failure, etc.
•  Hospital/home visitation
•  Officiating in wedding and funeral, and invocations.
•  On site crises debriefing and training
•  Referral Assistance
•  We have partners that specialize in mental counseling and trauma
•  We have partners that are professional life coaches
• In case of shooting or workplace violence or any other  crises that impacts a handful of employees, we do crisis debriefing and training on site.
  
• We bring healing and reconciliation between difficult employees and employers.

     * For every dollar invested in an EAP, employers generally save anywhere from $5 to $16. (USDL, What Works: Workplaces Without Drugs).
 Use of EAPs have been shown to result in:
    *  66% decline in absenteeism after alcohol abusers have been identified and treated.
     *  75% reduction in inpatient alcohol and other drug abuse treatment costs. (SAMSHA, 1995)
     *   33% decline in utilization of sickness benefits; 65% decline in work-related accidents; 30% decline in workers’ compensation claims.
